the importance of clean water and proper sanitation

Let's instill a sense of love for the environment

Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you are in good health. Let's talk about implementing the 6th SDGs goal. Let's just go...

Currently the whole world is promoting the SDGs. I am no exception, who on this occasion will implement the 6th goal in the SDGs, namely clean water and proper sanitation.

Do you know that nowadays many rivers are polluted to various degrees. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), about 46 percent of rivers in Indonesia are in a state of heavily polluted status, 32 percent are moderately polluted, 14 percent are moderately polluted and 8 percent are lightly polluted. Now that we know all that, what should we do? The first thing we do is make each of us aware that clean water is very necessary, therefore we must instill a sense of love for the environment, such as cleaning up trash in the river as shown below.

The picture shows the state of a polluted river. We can see that besides making the river water dirty and cloudy. It can also disturb the habitat of fish and other animals. That way we have to maintain the quality of the water. we also need to urge others to look after and preserve the environment, one thing we can do is to put up posters like the one below.

The purpose of the poster is to make people aware of the magnitude of the impact of throwing away or polluting rivers with garbage. In addition to having an impact on water quality and the habitat of aquatic animals is disturbed, this situation can also cause flooding if it rains heavily and does not readah. Therefore, let's instill a sense of love for the environment from ourselves, and pass it on to everyone.

It is very difficult to make people aware of the importance of clean water. Because water is the main component in everyday life. And don't throw garbage in the river, because it can pollute the cleanliness of the water.

Sometimes I see people throwing garbage in the river even though there are warning posters around the river. People don't seem to understand how important clean water is for the life around.

Most indonesian still do not have awareness of the importance of clean water for the benefit of other people's lives. By holding the above activities, at least it can appeal to the community to keep the water clean.

  5. Rivers are often polluted, this causes the river to become dirty, unfit for use, and disturbs the fish that live there. Your attention to trash needs to be appreciated, because not many people care about it. What you did is quite helpful to reduce waste.

This problem is difficult to overcome cause people are still not aware of it. But I hope what you write can make people more aware of protecting the river

I totally agree with this activity. with garbage around or the flow can cause flooding, one of which is Jakarta, which we often see experiencing flash floods with garbage. however, it is better to take the garbage around the river, we can invite relatives or friends so that they also care about clean water, it is better to invite children to shape their character. This poster can also be posted on social media so that many are aware that the lack of clean water has a huge impact

I also saw a lot of baby diaper waste in the river, which has always been a characteristic of rivers in Indonesia.
